Christian is a member of the managing board at Galenica where he is heading the business development and strategy division santé. +
After graduating in law at the university in Zurich he pursued a Dr. iur and started his career in a law firm “Bär&Karrer” in Zurich and continued with McKinsey & Co. as an associate principal in Zurich, New York and San Francisco. At Helsana, he built and headed a managed care division. In addition to that, he helped founding several start-ups and other entrepreneurial projects like medi-24, sentec, medix and others. Christian brings a huge knowledge and expertise in restructuring, experience in M&A, strategies into the organization.Tobias is well known in the eHealth community, as the founder (in 2006), CEO and major shareholder of Logicare, a leading provider of IT and consulting services to the Swiss healthcare market. Prior to Logicare, he was in the Top management of a globally active Swiss industrial corporation, where he focused on managing the challenges of globalization. Tobias holds a master’s degree in Political Economics from the University of Zurich and a federal degree in Business Information Technology.
Michael is the founder of healthbank, and served as CEO until July 2014. In 2013, he was the first Entrepreneur-in-Residence for SystemsX.ch, Switzerland’s largest early stage life sciences fund, and served as a mentor for the ETH Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab. Previously he served as Chairman of Genebio, a bioinformatics software firm, and sat on the Strategic Advisory Committee for HealthTIES, an EU-backed consortium of four of Europe’s top biosciences regions. Previous to his move to Switzerland, Michael co-founded two US-based firms: Netelligent Corporation and ActiveObjects, where he held the roles of President, Chairman and CEO respectively.
Rich is a co-founder of healthbank, and from 2013-2015 served as our Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. He is Director, Legal – International Employment Law of Alexion, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and delivering life-transforming therapies for patients with devastating and rare diseases. For 20+ years Rich has focused his legal practice on human capital and intellectual property matters, as a San Francisco and Zurich-based partner of leading U.S. technology/life sciences law firm Cooley LLP, and as in-house counsel for global media company NBC in New York City.
Thomas, TU Vienna, Head of the Research Group Industrial Software (INSO). INSO leads numerous research groups at various universities, from software engineering to large IT systems and IT security. One of the subgroups has been involved in medical informatics for 20 years. Thomas Grechenig has so far supervised more than 250 diploma theses and dissertations. In 2003, he founded Research Industrial Systems Engineering (RISE), a Europe-wide recognized research and development company with 350 employees, which stands for excellent technology from planning to implementation and operation. Among other things, Thomas led the development of the telematics infrastructure in Germany from Cebit 2005 and acted as chief architect on behalf of the BMG. He is an IT architect for complex large-scale projects with relevant global experience.

Reto Stocker

Claus has been Deputy Chairman of the DAK Gesundheit, a large Germany-wide operating health insurance. In this role he had specific responsibilities in the organizational management and IT/infrastructure management. Furthermore, he was involved in the foundation of the BITMARK corporate group, a network of independent IT companies owned by several health insurances.
Today, he plays an active role as consultant in the life science industry sector, running his own company called CMN Communication-Management-Networking. He is driving innovations by being a member in several supervisory and advisory boards in the life science industry as well as being engaged in the Swiss-German Society for Healthcare Policy.Reto is not only one of the most renowned medical doctors in Switzerland with a huge reputation far beyond the national borders. He furthermore is a profound expert of the health systems and its needs.
Reto graduated from the medicinal faculty in Zurich, where he finished his PhD and habilitated. He started his career at the university hospital in Zurich, where he reached the chief of medicine position. Today he is leading the institute of anesthesiology & intensive-care medicine as well as the research and teaching department at the Hirslanden clinic in Zurich. He published approx. 150 publications and has a proven track record of 3,500 citations.
