Reto is an expert in eHealth projects. He was involved in many of the big eHealth initiatives in Europe in recent years. Holding master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration, he has been responsible for international health tech business lines and sales teams. Reto drives the idea of encouraging citizens to make better decisions about their own health in order to receive the best possible care.
Dr. Christoph Heinzen, a citizen of Switzerland, received his PhD in bioprocess engineering from the Technical University ETH of Zurich in 1996 and his postgraduate degree in economics from ETH in Zurich in 1997. He began his career with The Boston Consulting Group in 1997. Subsequently, he became General Manager and CEO of Inotech AG, a start-up biotech company in Basel. In 2009, he was appointed Head of Project Management at Spirig AG, a Swiss based dermatological company, where he was responsible for defining a new corporate strategy. In May 2015, he joined LifeWatch AG (ECG monitoring) acting as Chief Operations and Technology Officer. In July 2017, after the acquisition of LifeWatch AG by BioTelemetry, Malvern USA, he serves as VP manufacturing. Carolina started her career as a commercial employee. She has been working for many years as an accountant in various companies in areas such as fiduciary services, IT, as well as in travel agencies for luxury cruises. In addition to this expertise in finance and accounting, she also has sound knowledge in social insurance.
Chief Medical Officer and Founding Partner
Jacques is a medical doctor and researcher, with expertise in genomics and infectious diseases and strong interest in personalized health, and a co-founder of healthbank. He is an Assistant Professor at the EPFL School of Life Sciences, a Visiting Physician at the Lausanne University Hospital and a Group Leader at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. In 2012, he was awarded the National Latsis Prize for his work on HIV and HCV host genomics.
Marketing Manager Investor Relations
Pauline started her career in sales and as project manager marketing communication for various multinationals in different countries. Her experience lies in the finance industry, telecommunication, medical systems as well as in the SME market Switzerland. After this working experience she launched a start-up in Switzerland. With her go-getter attitude and pragmatic approach she made the company grow and sold it and started to put her focus in getting marcomm strategies fit for new digital platforms.
Director of Research Partnerships
Daniela holds a PhD in biochemistry from the ETH in Zurich. She has 15 years of experience in clinical research and drug development. As Clinical Research Director at MSD in Switzerland she was responsible for Phase I to IV trials in various disease areas. Through her assignment as president of the Clinical Research Working group of ScienceIndustries she broadened her network in the Swiss clinical research environment, partnered with government, academia and industry and helped to shape the clinical research field. Additional assignment include board membership of SwAPP and advisory board membership of EUPATI Switzerland.

Hans is an expert with long term experience in different areas of healthcare IT. He was CIO in a private hospital in Switzerland, product manager for an international clinical information solution and project manager for many different local and international healthcare IT projects. Hans is convinced about the maturation of technology and society for “empowered patient” and sees in healthbank the fantastic chance for a successful realization of the multifaceted ideas around the patient and healthcare.

Mel is an almost 20-year veteran of the software industry, having begun his career as a developer in 1997 at the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority in Dublin, at the tender age of 17. In Dublin, he spent time working for midrange tech companies, financial institutions and some startups in the then-burgeoning Dublin tech scene. In 2008, he moved to Switzerland to take a position with UBS. Since then he has been based in and around Zürich, building systems for financial institutions, robotics and medical device companies. He has a keen interest in emergent tech, especially A.I., Blockchain applications and touchless UI. Mel holds a B.Sc. from Trinity College, Dublin and an M.Sc from the University of Salford.
